"The Situation" Flexes His Guns In Seaside Heights

We seem to have missed the memo on when Rosary beads became appropriate nightclub bling, but leave it to The Situation to educate us. The Jersey Shore star will team up with Jeff George of Luxury Laces to start a line of rosary necklaces and sneaker jewelry. Yes, that's right, sneaker jewelry. As in rhinestoned laces. “Luxury Laces has always been a favorite of the Sorrentino boys,” said a family friend. “The guys wear them, and they give the rosary blinged out necklaces to their girls.” Because, as we all know, a good Italian boy always says a few Hail Marys before he creeps.

So what’s the deal with the blinged out laces? “The idea will be to capture his confidence and style.” And nothing oozes that Situational charm like rhinestone-studded footwear. We can’t decide what’s more absurd, the Situation designing women’s underwear, or men’s sneaker accessories. Either way, we’re sure guidos and guidettes are lining up to buy the Situation’s swag.

Meanwhile, the rest of us are holding out for The Situation to release a “shirt before the shirt” line. Now that’s a marketing goldmine.
