It's safe to say that the signature hairstyle of Jersey Girls is down to there stick straight hair (unless, like Deena, they're embracing their curly Jersey roots). But, Snooki's encouraging fans to donate their tresses to Locks of Love.

Yup, the pint-sized guidette works with animal charities, zoos, fire departments, and burn victim charities, and she's recently been spotted at House of ALR's Locks of Love charity event. House of ALR is Snooki's home salon, and when asked by her stylists to come down and help out with their Locks of Love event, she jumped at the chance. "I just had to be a part of it!" she told Brittany Fuerstenberg of MSNBC. "I've always wanted to donate my hair to Locks of Love, and will in the future when my hair is longer." Um, we don't think the length of your weave counts as part of the 8 inches required for donation, but it's the thought that counts, isn't it, Snooki?

Of course, Locks of Love works specifically with cancer patients and other individuals suffering from long-term medical hair loss, and Snooks is obviously willing to do whatever it takes to boost people's confidence. Says Snooki of the organization, "I think Locks of Love really saves the confidence in cancer patients! They already have to deal with so much, and self-image should not be one of them. So the fact that we can give [them] their beauty back and put a smile on their face makes a huge difference!"

Who knew that underneath all that Ed Hardy and leopard print, Snooki has a heart of gold?
