Taylor Swift may be a fan of the Jersey Shore, but that doesn’t mean she’s a fan of The Situation’s abs or JWOWW’s style.
While talking to Jay Leno on The Tonight Show last night (February 20), Taylor admitted that she did grow up in some coastal New Jersey towns, but she was quick to clarify: “The actual Jersey Shore, like the quaint little towns. I’m not talking about the Jersey Shore that’s on the TV show.”
So what does Taylor think of the show’s portrayal of her beloved Jersey’s activities and people?
“When I tell people I’m from the Jersey Shore, people are like, ‘Umm...you were partying and tanning and stuff,’” the Lorax star told Jay. “I grew up in these cozy little towns. It’s a different place than the TV show.” However, Taylor admitted that she’s still a fan of the show.
It’s probably for the best that Taylor steers clear of Karma and Jenk’s. We don’t want to know what would happen if The Situation spotted her and amped up his “game.” Well, maybe we do: game over!
