You don't get to the top of the reality ladder without a lawsuit or two. Many of the Jersey Shore stars have been on both sides of the legal action, so let's look at four of the dumbest, weirdest, and just plain craziest Jersey Shore lawsuits.

1. Sitch Sues Abercrombie & Fitch. So, back in 2011, Abercrombie & Fitch offered The Situation money to stop wearing their clothing because they're just too darn classy for him. The problem? Abercrombie & Fitch used to sell Jersey Shore related shirts. Sitch and his team decided to go after the brand for using his name to ramp up publicity without his permission. For once, we were on Mike's side.

2. Angelina wants to sue MTV. OK, this one hasn't happened yet. But ex-cast member Angelina reportedly wants to sue MTV because she thinks she was misportrayed on the show. Also because it's embarrassing to be rejected from MTV events? We're not really sure that one would fly in court.

3. JWOWW's ex sues her. JWOWW's ex, Tom Lippolis, sued her for fees he claimed she owed him from back when he was her manager as well as her boyfriend. To which we reply: Dude, this is why you shouldn't be your partner's manager until you put a ring on it.

4. Sitch and Devotion Spirits sue each other. Recently, The Situation sued Devotion Spirits for not fulfilling their contract by failing to give him a full 10% ownership in their company. Devotion Spirit countersued, claiming Sitch is the one who violated the contract by concealing drug use and being late to events. On one hand, these are both pretty reasonable claims. On the other hand, it's a reality star and a vodka company suing each other. If the world really ends on December 21, this might be why.

Jersey Shore airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
