Based on The Situation’s antics on Season 5 — from completely isolating himself from the group to planning an ambush on Snooki — it’s hard to believe he has tons of fans left. But in Australia, where he’s currently promoting Season 5, he does. Eight of them!

According to Street Corner, the Jersey Shore star was staying at the Shangri-La Hotel in Sydney with his brother Marc, who came down to greet their fans around midnight. Marc told the “group” that "Mike was tired and was sleeping, but would be down to meet them in about an hour.”

It turns out that this “group” of fans was actually “a modest size group of fans, no more than 8,” according to the report. The hotel manager asked them politely to leave, or else they would call the police. Apparently there is very little crime on the streets of Sydney, because three cop cars showed up to confront this wild ‘n’ crazy crowd.

“Fans and their parents told the police that they were fans and were just waiting for the opportunity to see and speak to Mike, and the police were fine with that,” Street Corner reports.

Wow! That is quite the scare. To think that this ragtag mob of 8 people (including their parents) were threatening to stand outside of Mike’s hotel. It’s a good thing The Unit wasn’t there too, or else they might have had to contend with an unstoppable 9 revelers. The horror!
