The Situation Lands MTV Development Deal

Prepare for some high doses of GTL — Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino inked a development deal with MTV that could lead to him getting his own show.
Mike, whose show is slated to begin production by the end of 2011, isn’t the first Jersey Shore star to get in on the spin-off action, Snooki and JWOWW, and Pauly D have all landed their own shows. No word yet on exactly what Mike's show will be about. But for those who can't wait for the solo projects to get their Jersey Shore fix, never fear, the gang is descending on Italy and starting up Season 4 this week.
