The Situation has been doing his own thing separate from the rest of the Jersey Shore cast ever since filming on Season 6 wrapped, so it’s been hard to keep up with his romantic life. Imagine our surprise when we saw this photo of Mike looking very chummy with a gorgeous model in Miami.

The Situation tweeted the pic in the wee hours this morning (September 24), writing “At LiV MIami! Sitch @AmandaJemini” The super-hot brunette to his right is Amanda Jemini, aka Miss Hooters International of 2012.

Last we checked, The Situation was getting serious with his on-again, off-again girlfriend Paula. Could Mike and Amanda just be friends, or does this picture show a more intimate relationship? We’d feel better about the situation with The Situation if Paula had been there, too.

Jersey Shore Season 6 will premiere on Thursday, October 4 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
