It's been a rough summer for Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino. First his dad publicly humiliates him all over the Internet, then he tries to ditch the Shore house, only to be dragged back by production, his housemates, and a surprise party at Karma, and now he's being sued by his reps to the tune of $1 million.

Gotham NYC Entertainment is claiming that The Sitch fired them last May due to "lack of performance," even though he was legally bound to give the management company 30 days notice and a chance to correct any issues before terminating their services. By jumping the gun on canning Gotham, lawyers say, Mike was in breach of contract.

Mike's management team have been managing the Jersey Shore star since 2009 and claim they transformed "his career from relative obscurity [and made him] an international celebrity" after initially discovering him, and are suing for $1 million in damages. Basically, they're saying he dumped them after they turned him into a BFD . But it seems to us that a paltry $1 mil barely makes a dent in the Sorrentino books, considering he netted in the multi-millions last year.

You might wanna quit pissing off your reps, though, Mike. If your dad can't destroy you, your "people" probably can!
