It looks like Snooki isn't the only Jersey Shore castmate with a weakness for all things cute and furry. Vinny apparently moonlights as a one-man animal rescue team all by himself. His casa in Staten Island is also home to four rescue dogs, four cats, two parrots, two snakes, and one ferret — and don't forget the pet shark he told us all about on his When I Was 17 MTV special.

Vinny sees a bit of his roommates in each of his four pooches. Alpha, an abandoned husky Vinny adopted, is most like The Situation. "Alpha’s like a cocky kinda dog that always wants to get his way when he wants something he just takes it right away you know," Vin says affectionately.

Xena, an adopted shepherd mix, is the only lady dog, but her spiky hair reminds Vinny most of Pauly D.

Dean is another adopted pup Vinny found on the side of the highway, and he says he identifies most with this little guy, since Dean is laid back but springs into action when needed.

One guess as to which housemate his bulldog Jelly reminds him of. Yup — Snooki. "He sleeps all day and he likes pickles," Vinny explains. Sounds reasonable to us.

So who's Vinny's perfect woman in dog terms? "She’d be a mix between a Siberian husky cause of the nice eyes and a French poodle because of the confidence and hopefully she’d have a little bit of a French accent too."

Got that, ladies? The man is a sucker for eyes and a French accent. Now mush!
