Jersey Shore's Vinny continues to buck guido stereotypes in this recent video interview with CNN, where he discusses his love of Shakespeare. Yes, you read that right.

Vinny, who wants to be a serious actor, apparently performed some of The Bard's finest works back in his high school acting days. In this interview, Vinny admits that he started performing Shakespeare in lieu of traditional English classes, "because I didn't feel like writing any papers," but explains that, in the end, Shakespeare became one of his "favorite things to do."

In this video Vinny also claims, "If I can do the Jersey Shore for like 20 years, I'll do it," and says he definitely doesn't regret doing the show (even if there are certain hookups he'd rather have avoided).

For more from Vinny, including why he thinks Jersey Shore isn't dumbing down America, watch the full interview below.
