In recent months, new mom Snooki has stated that she was not planning on filming the birth of baby Lorenzo for one of her MTV shows. She said that auntie JWOWW would be shooting from the delivery room, but not a camera crew.
So why was a camera crew spotted at St. Barnabas Hospital, where little ‘Enzo was welcomed into the world?
Examiner reports that a witness saw “JWOWW and camera crew at the hospital” early Sunday morning (August 26) when Lorenzo was born.
Snooki & JWOWW Season 2 is rumored to be in production already, based on the presence of a full 495 Productions crew setting up camp outside of the new Manchester, NJ house where JWOWW has been living for the past couple of weeks. The day before Snooki went into labor, in fact, she visited JWOWW at the house and went shopping at local Manchester stores.
But just because a camera crew “followed laboring Snooki into” the hospital doesn’t mean that they were allowed to film Snooki giving birth. Something tells us, however, that we’ll get to enjoy watching Snooki go into contractions on our small screen someday soon!
Catch the next episode of Snooki & JWOWW on Thursday, August 30 at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
UPDATE as of August 27: RadarOnline reports that 495 Productions did record Snooki going into labor in the hospital delivery room for Snooki & JWOWW 2. But the actual birth was not filmed for the show.
