We’ve always known that Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is a woman of many faces: there is Drunk Snooki, Bigfoot Snooki, Tourist Snooki, and Snuggle Snooki, just to name a few. But, according to the Jersey Shore meatball’s interview on The Today Show this morning, where she promoted her newest book, Confessions of a Guidette, the entire Snooki catalog of multiple personalities consists of only two: “Nicole” and “Snooki.”

So what’s the difference? As the newly red-haired star explained to Matt Lauer, “On the show you see the party side of me [that] I call Snooki. My alter ego.” Right, but, as far as Season 4 goes, we’re pretty sure that’s the only personality we saw. So who is this mysterious “Nicole”?

She told Matt, “Right now you are talking to Nicole.” She went on to define this side to her: “It’s like the soft, calm, like, you know, business-ready person.”

Well, that’s nice to know. Still, we’re pretty sure this dual personality syndrome is better described as that old mullet tagline, “Business in the front, party in the back.” Ms. Polizzi can try putting on a professional face for Matt, but we have a feeling the real Nicole is allll Snooki.
