Spin-offs are here! Pauly D's long-awaited Jersey Shore spin-off finally has a premiere date and an official name. Let the fist-pumping commence.

The Pauly D Project (not Delvecchio, as previously reported), will follow Pauly's pursuit of DJ stardom as well s the playful antics of his every day life. The show will premiere on March 29, 2012 on MTV at 10:30 pm ET/P, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Those of you who went to mark your calenders immediately will note that yes, that is a Thursday. This spin-off, which is paired with the newly revived Punk'd at 10 pm, should help fill the Jersey Shore shaped whole in your TV schedule after Season 5 ends.
