The eight Jersey Shore castmates were understandably emotional as filming wrapped on Jersey Shore Season 6, the final season in the MTV show’s short, but zeitgeist-changing, run. But those last moments in front of the camera affected the cast in different ways.

In an interview with the New York Times, JWOWW admits that on the last day of filming, “I had a nervous breakdown in the middle of the street, crying.” She continues, “It was so bittersweet. That’s the house that changed my life.”

We actually get chills just thinking about how that last day must have played out. And we can easily see JWOWW (and the other roommates) breaking down in tears as they said goodbye to the Shore house, the Shore Store, and the cameras in their faces.

Luckily, we’ll get to see it all go down in the Jersey Shore Season 6 finale (Season 6: Episode 12: “Raining Men and Meatballs”, airing December 13). According to the NY Times, on the last day, the “housemates were allowed for the first time to interact directly with crew members and onlookers.” Breaking the fourth wall has never happened before on Jersey Shore, and we can’t wait to see what that looks like.

Make sure to tune in on the last Jersey Thursday ever!
