Jesse Williams Is Starring in a Jay-Z Music Video — Report

As if Jesse Williams didn’t have enough on his dance card, now he’s a music video star again.

The Grey’s Anatomy star is appearing in a Jay-Z video, apparently!

Read on for all the details…

Jesse is no stranger to the music video game.

He played Rihanna’s love interest in the video for her 2009 track “Russian Roulette,” for one.

And three years before that, he had a bit part in the music video for rock supergroup +44’s song “When Your Heart Stops Beating.”

Now he’s back at it, appearing in a video for Jay-Z’s album 4:44.

A New York Daily News source spotted Jesse on the set of the music video shoot, where actors appeared dressed in prison jumpsuits.

4:44 is the fourteenth studio album from the rapper born Shawn Carter, by the way.

We’ll likely see Jesse’s spot in the music video soon, considering Sprint and Tidal customers will be able to stream 4:44 starting tomorrow, June 30.

Plus, there’s a companion film coming out with the release — TV teasers already revealed the involvement of actors Mahershala Ali, Lupita Nyong’o, and Danny Glover.

Both Jay and Jesse have had busy personal lives lately.

The rapper, for example, just welcomed twins with wife Beyoncé — so says her father, Matthew, anyway.

Neither Bey nor Jay has commented on the twins’ birth, but the pop superstar and daughter Blue Ivy were spotted at a Los Angeles hospital on June 15.

Meanwhile, Jesse is just trying to hang on to his kids.

The 35-year-old has been battling ex Aryn Drake-Lee for custody of their two children — 3-year-old daughter Sadie and 1-year-old son Maceo.

In legal documents filed a week ago, he accused her of restricting his access to them and barring them from any sleepovers at his place.

And he’s been busy on the professional front, too — he recently wrapped production on the thriller film Jacob’s Ladder, and he voiced a lead character in the upcoming video game Detroit: Become Human.

We’d watch Jesse Williams read a phone book — or reel off paragraphs of medical jargon, as he does sometimes on Grey’s — so you know we’ll be eager to see J.W.’s collaboration with Jay-Z!
