Jessica Alba Admits She’s a “Prude” to Entertainment Weekly (VIDEO)

As much as we know of Jessica Alba, it turns out we don’t know her at all! Sure, she is a mother to two adorable little girls — Honor, 6 next month, and Haven, 2-and-a-half, with husband, Cash Warren — she’s an actress (starring in the upcoming sequel Sin City: A Dame to Kill For), but she also started The Honest Company. But, you guys? It turns out Jessica is actually a “prude.” Gasp.

In the recent issue of Entertainment Weekly, not only does Jessica pose in a white-hot itty-bitty bikini, but she reveals who the real her is off the big screen. “I never slept my way through Hollywood, so I never felt like I compromised,” Jessica admits to EW (via People).

“Apparently people do it, I didn't. I felt like I never compromised myself because I'm a prude. I don't know. I grew up Catholic. In my head I'm always thinking, 'Oh God, can my grandma see this?’”

Despite Hollywood depicting her as a sex symbol, Jessica says that she caught herself telling a lie or two, just to make it seem like she lived up to the title. “I'm kind of a prude, and I didn't really understand," she adds. "They would always ask me provocative questions about my sexuality, my this or that.”

“Sometimes I would lie and say something that wasn't true to make myself seem more interesting than I was,” she admits. “I mean, I didn't even know how to walk in heels until I went to the Golden Globes for the first time." Now, there’s something we never saw coming!

Prude or not, we still think the actress is one-of-a-kind. In fact, she was even honored with the title of “Mother of the Year,” this past Mother’s Day, and we’re sure she values that more than her sex symbol status.
