Jessica Alba Worries Daughter Honor Is Growing Up Too Fast
“Kids should be kids” is an age-old mantra that many parents can stand by. But what happens when the little ones suddenly trade playing in the mud and using their imagination for an emotional, intellectual, or even fashion growth spurt? Celebrity mama Jessica Alba says she’s struggling with her oldest daughter’s suddenly mature sense of style.
Jessica recently opened up to People magazine about her struggle with 5-year-old Honor, saying, “Honor likes wearing heels and dresses and I’m like ‘No! [Don’t you want to] climb a tree?’”
The 32-year-old Sin City 2 starlet has always been on point with her own fashion game so it’s no wonder little Honor is picking up what she’s putting down. And from what we’re hearing she may not just have to deal with Honor’s fashionista tendencies. Jessica’s younger daughter, 2-year-old Haven, gets her big sister’s hand-me-downs, so both girls could be hitting fast-forward on their childhood!
We can understand Jessica’s concern, although from our experience, while the heels could be scaled back for several years, dresses aren’t anything to be worried about. This little lady just wants to look good!
