Grey’s Anatomy: Jessica Capshaw Shares First Photo From Season 11 Set

The cast and crew of Grey's Anatomy are hard at work creating the drama we love to watch! Filming for Season 11 began on Friday, July 25, and now we're seeing the first photo from set — courtesy of Jessica Capshaw (Arizona Robbins)!

In the selfie, posted to Twitter on July 29, Jessica poses with Camilla Luddington (Jo Wilson) and Jerrika Hinton (Stephanie Edwards) on her left and new addition Kelly McCreary (Maggie Pierce) on her right. And everyone is in their Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital garb!

"Just another Tuesday on set with @camilluddington @hellojerrika and @KMcCrearyNYC" the 37-year-old typed in the caption — adding emojis for a flame, heart, bang, and wink. (That string of icons seems to sum Grey's up, yeah?)

This is the sixth season for which Jessica has been a series regular and the second season for both Camilla and Jerrika. Kelly is the freshest face to us fans — having just popped up at the end of Season 10 as Maggie Pierce, the hospital's new head of cardio,Richard's (James Pickens Jr.) long-lost daughter, and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) newly-revealed half-sister.

Kelly is not a series regular yet, but we have a hunch that Shonda Rhimes and the other Powers That Be will want Maggie and her portrayer to stick around. Good secret-family drama awaits, after all.

Grey's Anatomy Season 11 premieres Thursday, September 25, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

Don't miss the episode.
