Jessica Simpson on Baby Weight Bullying: I Felt For Kim Kardashian

Not every pregnant woman looks like Kate Middleton — barely showing by six months and back to what looked like her pre-pregnancy size in no time.

Jessica Simpson, who just gave birth to her son Ace two months ago, talked to Us Weekly about how the Duchess of Cambridge was “glowing” throughout her pregnancy, but Kim Kardashian took heat for her weight gain — just like Jess did during her first pregnancy with Maxwell.

"I felt for Kim — I knew exactly what she was going through," Jessica said. "I send a lot of love her way, and I know she'll come back with a bang." She added, "I will never understand why people give pregnant women such a hard time. We are creating a human life: I think we get every excuse in the world to eat a doughnut!"

Heck, you don’t need to wait till you’re pregnant to eat a doughnut (Homer Simpson never does), just treat yourself in moderation, etc. People have different body types and it’s frustrating that some pregnant women are almost punished for gaining more weight than others.

"I am definitely one of those pregnant women who just gains a lot of weight," Jess continued. "I have really big boobs, I have my curves and I just gain weight. I can't help it. …It's been six weeks since I've had my baby now, and I feel great. …It's okay to gain weight, and it will always come off."

It’s also probably easier for celebs like Jessica, Kim and Kate to lose baby weight since they have access to more money, trainers, and weight loss help than Average Jane. And despite a Star report saying Jessica was given an "ultimatum" by Weight Watchers to quickly lose her Ace baby weight, she told Us she's stridently following the Weight Watchers PointsPlus plan, and her deal with the company is on track.
