Where Did Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson Spend Their Wedding Night?

If Us Weekly is to be believed, Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson spent their first night as a married couple in style!

The magazine cites a source who says after the pop star and her football star beau got hitched on July 5 at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California, the newlyweds spent the night in a luxurious cottage… in the very same location!

Apparently, the bride and groom stayed at the Warner Cottage at San Ysidro Ranch, the resort's ritziest accommodations.

John F. Kennedy and Jackie Onassis Kennedy reportedly honeymooned at the very same cottage in 1953, and Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin enjoyed the digs, too.

According to the Ranch's website, the Warner Cottage's 2,500 square feet boast two master bedrooms with king-sized canopy beds and stone fireplaces, a terrace overlooking the Pacific, a private swimming pool, a sunken hot tub, and an outdoor shower.

With amenities like that in just one cottage, it's no surprise Travel & Leisure named the Ranch the fourth-best hotel in the world in 2011. (It's also no surprise that the cottage goes for an average of $5,500 per night.)

Hey, we all know what just-married folk usually do on their wedding night, so maybe Jess and Eric picked nearby accommodations very strategically!
