Jessie J Quits as The Voice UK Judge

It appears that not even the highest price tag can keep a certain celebrity judge from quitting The Voice.

Singer Jessie J has been a mentor and judge on the first two seasons of The Voice UK but has now announced that she won't be returning for Season 3.

The 25-year-old "Price Tag" singer — who also co-wrote Miley Cyrus's hit "Party in the USA" writes on Twitter that she enjoyed The Voice but is now concentrating on her new album.

"I’ve absolutely loved my time on The Voice, and I hope everyone saw and knows how passionately I felt about the show," she writes. "However, I can’t wait to promote my new record around the world, and that has to take priority."

It sounds like she'll still be watching the show from the comfort of her own home, and she just might appear as a performer at some point.

"I shall be keeping a very close eye on [Season] 3, showing my support in every way I can, and really hope that in some way that I can be part of the show," she adds.

She leaves behind fellow judges, legendary crooner Tom Jones, and The Script's Danny O’Donoghue.

Will you miss Jessie, or are you more excited to hear her new tunes?
