New Mom Jessie James Reveals Surprising Story Behind Daughter’s Name
When baby girl Vivianne Rose Decker was born on March 18 to country singer Jessie James and New York Jets wide receiver Eric Decker, we kind of thought her classically beautiful name must have been a family hand-me-down. But as the one-week-old's mother just revealed during a Twitter Q&A that wasn't the case and the real story behind the name may surprise you!
When a fan asked, "was #babv's name inspired by pretty woman?" Jessie simply replied, "Yaya sisterhood." The acclaimed Rebecca Wells novel about the mother/daughter relationship between Vivian Walker and her daughter Siddalee obviously had a big impact on the 25-year-old artist.
Fans also wanted to know if Jessie planned on having any more kids, to which she said she wants "lots." She also revealed which parent baby Vivi looks most like for now (daddy!). The new mom's favorite activity with her new daughter is snuggling, and no, Vivi will not call her grandmother Ya-Ya. She will call her "maw maw."
Vivianne is the first child for both Jessie and Eric, who also star in the reality show Eric & Jessie: Game On. With the first season and their televised wedding out of the way, the second season, which premieres on March 30 on E!, will focus on Jessie’s pregnancy.
No news yet on when or where Vivi will make her first appearance, but with parents as attractive as Jessie and Eric, there's no doubt that the little girl came out posing!
