Jill Scott’s Weight Loss Journey — See Her Amazing Transformation! (PHOTOS)
Lovable and super talented songstress Jill Scott embarked on a weight loss journey after the birth of her son, Jett, in 2009 and by 2011, Jilly was able to lose a whopping 63 pounds. This past weekend, the singer showed off the fruits of her continued labor in a slinky black dress that had many (including us) salivating.
While we’re not exactly sure what Jill’s combined weight loss has been since 2011, when the “Long Walk” singer stepped out in a body-hugging dress at the UNCF’s 35th Annual Evening of Stars in Atlanta (which airs April 13), it was pretty obvious that she’s continued to slim down.
In 2011, Jill admitted to Us Weeklythat she would “walk up nine steps and be out of breath!" at her pre-slim weight of 263 lbs. But ever since Jett entered her life, “There's a world of discovery in his eyes, and I want to be around to enjoy it!”
The Philadelphia native’s healthier lifestyle consists of three low-fat meals and two snacks a day, in addition to 60-minute cardio and strength-training sessions three times a week with her L.A. trainer, Scott Parker.

Jill also recently revealed that she also has a secret weapon to give her waist that perfect hourglass figure: waist training.
“Waist training is really good after u have a baby. It reminds the body how it used to be or how you want it to be. So far so good,” she tweeted on April 9.
And it clearly shows.
