Jill Zarin Open to Returning to ‘RHONY’: “Maybe, Just to Keep Me Busy” — Exclusive
Jill Zarin may be ready to hold the red apple once again, ladies and gentlemen.
The Real Housewives of New York alum, who walked away from the show after four seasons, is currently supporting her husband, Bobby Zarin — who is battling thyroid cancer — but that doesn’t mean she’s not thinking about her future.
At her 5th Annual Luxury Luncheon in Southampton on July 29, the reality star told Wetpaint all about her loving husband, why she’s considering a return to the Housewives, and even about her relationship with Bethenny Frankel.
Despite Bobby’s recent hospitalization, the event, which raised money for International Thyroid Oncology Group, was a huge success.
Though she wanted to be by her husband’s side, the 53-year-old knew he wanted the show to go on.
“Bobby has a lot of patience, he accepts me for who I am. He doesn’t give up on me, he keeps trying to fix me and make me better,” she shared.
“I love everything about him and he loves me unconditionally.”
The mother of one has been off RHONY for quite some time, but she is considering returning to her beloved Bravo network, if asked.
"Maybe, just to keep me busy. That’s the first time I’ve ever said that, but maybe,” she revealed. “To give me something to do because I don’t know if I can just sit at home.”
As for her feud with the Skinnygirl creator, Jill is hopeful the pair will be able to repair their friendship at some point.
"I would like to fix things with Bethenny, that would be Bobby’s wish actually. He was never happy the way things ended with her and he really wishes he could have done more and talk me into it,” she said.
“He told me not to do things I did and I didn’t listen to him, it's probably my biggest fault, that I never listen to him and I couldn’t reverse what I had done. I'd say that would be a wish for him, that we just, we could be best friends again.”
She continued, “But that's not for me to do, or to reach out. This is in her court now. But Bobby would really love to see that."
Ramona Singer, who has had an on-and-off friendship with Jill, also attended the event and the two appeared to bury the hatchet.
"It means everything to me. Ramona came to the hospital and sat with me for a few hours. She’s been emailing me and texting me every day," Jill told E! News.
"The past doesn’t mean anything, it doesn’t mean anything to us. Others haven’t called, but…I’m blessed, I’m so lucky, I’m surrounded by friends."
Our thoughts and prayers are with Jill and Bobby during this tough time!
The Real Housewives of New York City airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
