Jim Marchese Isn’t Working With Us, Says U.S. Attorneys’ Office

We all knew the Giudice family’s legal problems were going to play a big role on The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 6, but we weren't counting on how newbie Amber Marchese's husband, Jim Marchese, would fit in. It turns out, he's just making things even more complicated — and it's unclear if there's a good reason for that.

In last Sunday's episode, Jim said he didn't want to meet Joe Giudice because he has a mortgage company and sometimes works with the Department of Justice on fraud cases. In the promo for next week's episode he gets more explicit, telling Joe Gorga, "I work for the same f—ing Attorney General that's prosecuting your brother-in-law, you dumb f—k."

Harsh words especially because the United States Attorneys’ Office denies they work with Jim at all.

"The Attorney General isn’t prosecuting the Giudices. The United States Attorneys’ Office is," a spokesperson for the Attorneys’ Office clarified to RadarOnline.com. "No one involved with the prosecution has any idea who that man is."

A source close to the show also told Radar that we can expect to keep hearing Jim claim he has a connection to the Giudice case when, as the Attorneys’ Office has now made clear, he does not.

We'll have to wait and see how this all plays out, but for now, this confirms that the husbands are just as capable of bringing the drama as the H'wives!
