Girls Gone Wild’s Joe Francis: The Jury Who Convicted Me Should Be Shot
From building an empire based on his ability to get drunk girls to disrobe to his multiple high-profile court cases, nobody would ever call Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis, or his lifestyle, subtle.
In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Joe maintains his reputation as the last guy you’d ever want to meet, lashing out at the members of the jury who recently convicted him of false imprisonment and assault.
"The problem with the jury system is that anyone who's not smart enough to come with an excuse to get out of jury duty doesn't get out," Joe says of the jury who tried his case. "Only the stupidest of the stupidest people end up on juries, you know? I've never met a smart person who's done jury duty."
While he maintains throughout the interview that he’s a “nice guy” and an honest businessman who’s been consistently misrepresented in the media, he has some less charitable words for the jury that threatens to send him back to prison.
"I want that jury to know that each and every one of you are mentally f**ing retarded and you should be euthanized because, as Darwin said, you have naturally selected yourself," he wails.
"You are the weakest members of the herd. Goodbye! And if that jury wants to convict me because I didn't show up, which is the only reason why they did, then, you know, they should all be lined up and shot!"
