Why Isn’t Teresa Giudice Visiting Joe Giudice in Prison More Often?
Turns out the Real Housewives of New Jersey star is just playing by the rules of Fort Dix and is seeing her husband on a regular schedule these days.
“She’s been going up every other weekend, with whichever of the girls don’t have activities,” the family’s lawyer James Leonard told People.
The way visitation works is that Joe — who is serving 41 months for fraud — gets a set number of points every month and each visit counts as one point, with weekends counting as more.
“Because he also has his mother and sister coming to visit, and Teresa can’t go during the week because the girls are in school, they’re having to do it every other weekend,” Leonard added.
While they might not see each other every single day, the reality TV couple do speak nonstop.
“[They] speak every day on the phone and over email and with the girls,” Leonard continued, referring to the pair’s four daughters — 15-year-old Gia, 12-year-old Gabriella, 10-year-old Milania, and 6-year-old Audriana — who haven’t been able to visit as much as they want.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 7 returns to Bravo on July 10.
