The plot thickens for Teresa Giudice's upcoming trial date. Reportedly, her husband, Joe Giudice, is dead set on getting a separate trial from his wife, with the intentions of doing everything he can to protect his wife. According to Celebuzz, The Real Housewives of New Jersey hubby plans on pleading the Fifth if he has to end up with the joint trial.
The Celebuzz source claims that Joe plans to tell the courts that Teresa had "no knowledge of any alleged criminal activity in relation to the 41 counts of federal fraud against the couple and wants to testify to that effect. But only if he gets a separate trial."
The article goes on to say, "The hot-heated TV husband also wants the prosecution to provide access to the grand jury transcript 'in order to determine whether grand jury abuses led to his indictment'," adding, "And, last but not least, he wants a separate hearing to review all Real Housewives of New Jersey takes and outtakes that attorneys plan on using against him to determine their 'audibility and admissibility'."
Currently, the Giudice's are schedule to appear in court this April, but it sounds like things might be delayed again if Joe gets his way.
Celebuzz also posted a list of all the things Joe plans on telling the judge regarding Teresa, including that she had no idea that there were discrepancies on their various loan applications and that she was unaware that multiple properties and businesses were acquired under her name. He also plans to reveal that both he and his former business partner forged her name on more than one occasion.
We hope Joe's plan doesn't completely backfire. Stay tuned!
