Watch John Stamos Help a Fan Propose to His Full House-Obsessed Girlfriend
Uncle Jesse's still got it!
Doug Cox was trying to find a way to propose to his girlfriend, Katrina. But there was a "brick wall" standing in his way: the "six-foot-tall Greek God" his future fiancée loved so much, 34 percent of the couple's DVR was filled with Full House reruns.
Oh, and the couple also has a randomly framed picture of the actor hanging in their hallway.
So, instead of trying to beat the Uncle Jesse stunner, Doug wrote John an email, asking if he'd kindly step down so he could propose to his girlfriend.
Much to the couple's surprise, John replied with a video where he played matchmaker for Doug and his future wife.
So it began. Doug sat Katrina down in front of a laptop as he played John's message to her. John began by reading Doug's email to him before complimenting him on his good looks.
"From what I see in this email you sent, you're a handsome man, nice hair, great beard, you've got beautiful blue eyes," John said.
The actor then proceeded to play wingman by nudging Katrina to marry her boyfriend.
"Katrina, I would say yes. If I was a woman, I'd say yes to young Doug," he said. "So I guess this is me asking you to marry him."
That's when Doug got down on one knee, presented Katrina with a diamond ring, and popped the big question. Spoiler alert, she said yes.
"God bless you both and I wish y'all the best," John said at the end of the video.
"We did it, John Stamos! We did it!" Doug shouted at the end of the video before Katrina quoted Uncle Jesse's catchphrase and winked at the ring.
Watch the adorable video below! Have mercy, indeed.
