Jon Gosselin’s Mom Details Kate’s Disturbing Behavior With the Children
Jon Gosselin has a lot of protective women in his life.
And now, his mother Pamela is speaking out with disturbing claims against her grandchildren’s mother.
Pretty much since the Gosselins divorced in 2009, their relationship has been acrimonious.
However, in recent months the fight for their children has grown increasingly ugly, reaching a climax on August 15 when police responded to an incident in the parking lot of daughter Hannah’s orthodontist.
Police reports documented that the 13-year-old — one of the sextuplets — insisted on going with her dad, spurring the mother of eight to attempt to pull her out of the car.
Though no arrest was made, the teen had to seek medical attention for a strained arm, caused by the confrontation with her mom.
Pamela, who was an eyewitness, is speaking out on this “horrible” altercation.
“I would never have believed that a scene could be so horrible until I witnessed the custody exchange myself. How can a judge allow physical force to remove a child?” the grandmother questions to In Touch.
She mentions a judge as, days later, sources say “the judge took away Jon’s 50/50 custody of Hannah and claimed he had manipulated her so she would not want to visit with her mother.”
The insider adds, “The judge also separated Hannah and Jon for 30 days.”
The part-time DJ reportedly also had his visitation with the other kids reduced, only seeing them “for a couple of hours on Sundays in a park.”
Though custody is a concern for the ex-reality star, his mother maintains there’s a bigger problem at hand: the psychological well-being of the children.
“Kate thinks there is nothing wrong with her, so she would never subject herself to going to therapy,” Pamela shares.
“But she needs psychological help.”
Apparently, Hannah told her grandma that Kate forces her and her siblings to chant “we will not visit Jon,” and won’t even let them say “daddy.”
The teen also is said to have a troubled relationship with her brothers and sisters now, after the August incident.
“When Hannah finally went home after the custody incident and a trip to the hospital, Hannah told me that her sisters and brothers shunned her and wouldn’t talk to her,” the paternal grandmother maintains.
“Hannah says Kate told them not to talk to her to teach her a lesson.”
In addition to her son reclaiming custody with his children, Pamela says she hopes everyone — including Kate — will get the psychological help they need.
She reasons, “After eight years and hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal bills, there should be a psych evaluation for the whole family.
“And after everything that has happened, I demand a psych evaluation for Kate.”
