Your dream of seeing Nick, Joe, and Kevin in the flesh just got deferred — People reports that the Jonas Brothers have canceled their tour two days from its start date.
"There is a deep rift within the band," says Jesse Derris, the brothers' spokesperson. "There was a big disagreement over their music direction."
The magazine asserts that the blowout occurred over the weekend, prompting the curly-haired trio to call off the tour.
Those who purchased tickets to the 19-date tour — which was set to kick off on October 11 in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, before traveling to Montreal, Boston, New York, Denver, and Seattle, among other waypoints — will receive a full refund.
Unfortunately, the band's official website still touts that tickets are for sale, bearing the the full schedule along with the tease "Stay tuned for more…"
"American Girl" singer-songwriter Bonnie McKee was set to travel with the boys as their opening act. We can't imagine she's happy about being benched by the tour cancellation.
The brothers were due to release their fifth studio album — fittingly titled V — this fall, but time will tell if that record will ever see the light of day.
At least you ticket holders now have a few extra hours of free time…
