Klaus Mikaelson might not have a heart, but Joseph Morgan definitely does!

Just two months after exclusively revealing to Wetpaint Entertainment that he was engaged to former Vampire Diaries co-star Persia White, the two have officially tied the knot in a quaint ceremony in Ocho Rios, Jamaica on July 5.

“It had a very rustic feel to it,” Persia tells People about her wedding to the Originals star. “There was nothing about it that was overwhelming or very huge or fabulous in that way. We tried to keep everything really intimate and beautiful and sort of going along with nature.”

The wedding may have been rustic, but they kept it classic with their wedding fashion. Persia wore a Vera Wang gown, while Joseph donned a Miguel Wilson ivory-colored silk tux with black lapels. “And then I had a bow tie,” Joseph added. “In fact, the bow tie was the first bow tie I’ve ever tied myself, so I was quite proud of that.” Aww, could he possibly be more adorable?

The ceremony, which took place at the private villa where the couple got engaged, had just 26 guests in attendance. “I think one of the reasons we picked it was because we love the ocean and we both grew up by the sea,” Persia said. “To be by the sea was wonderful. And the people of Jamaica are just wonderful.”

Joseph and Persia danced to Florence + the Machine’s “Never Let Me Go” for their first dance as a married couple, but it was a much more authentic musical experience, Jamaican musical group Children of the Drums, that took the cake. Speaking of cake, the pair had a triple layer vegan cake that was chocolate on the inside with vanilla icing. Yum!

After saying “I do” and having a grand time at their reception, Joseph and Persia jetted off to Negril for the honeymoon. There the two, according to Joseph, partook “in the favorite local pastime — cliff jumping.”

You know what they say, the couple who jumps off a cliff together, stays together! Congrats, you two!
