Bachelor 2014 Sneak Peek: Does Juan Pablo Send Clare Crawley Home on 1-on-1?
This morning, Juan Pablo Galavis appeared on Good Morning America to show off a little sneak peek at tonight’s episode, set in New Zealand. He’ll have three dates on Episode 6, including a 1-on-1 with Andi Dorfman, a group date with six girls, and another solo date with Clare Crawley. As viewers will remember, the last we saw Clare, she was bawling in Vietnam, thanks to a truly awkward conversation with Juan Pablo.
Now that they’re in New Zealand, it seems Juan Pablo is ready to have a conversation with Clare about what’s going on. In the sneak peek clip, things seem a little less weird between them when they go on a picnic. He runs his hand through her hair and seems to be very flirty with her. “You caught me off guard,” he tells her. She counters with the question that’s been on all of our minds: “Did we do anything inappropriate?” You can check out the clip below and then tune in at 8 p.m. ET/PT to watch it all play out.
For fans who need some context on where they stand, we’ve got you covered. On the February 3 episode, the frontrunner — who got the first 1-on-1 date of the season — had a little falling out with our Bachelor. In Vietnam, Clare was one of nine girls on a group date, which another contestant called “Clare and Juan Pablo’s 1-on-1... that we’re on,” since he spent the great majority of the date with her. First, they rode on boats down a river, with just Juan Pabs and Clare sharing rowing duties in one boat — and him taking the time to pull her aside and kiss her — and then he took her to his suite for some swimming at his private pool. After the date, she snuck out to his suite, took him to the ocean, and the two got romantic in the waves, leading many to speculate that they had sex.
Since the episode aired, Clare has spoken out denying that any hanky panky happened in the ocean that night. “I just want the reality of it to be out there and the truth to be out there instead of the short clips people are seeing. I wanted to be able to elaborate on that,” she added to her comments. She also told reporters, “he made me feel awful,” and called him out, saying “you shouldn’t make a woman cry whether it’s right or wrong.”
