Juan Pablo Calls The Bachelor a “Soap Opera,” Can’t Wait for It to End

If you think this season of The Bachelor has felt like it kept dragging on — given all the controversy Juan Pablo Galavis has caused, along with rumors that he might not have actually found love — imagine how eternal it’s probably felt for the man with the roses! Indeed, JPG is letting us all know that he can’t wait to wrap things up with The Bachelor 2014 finale tonight.

When his season began, Juan Pablo loved the attention he was getting and relished being El Bachelor. But while he may have felt like the king of the world once, he soon faced backlash over (we hope you’re sitting down ‘cause this is a long list) his comments about a gay Bachelor, his criticism of Clare Crawley after they hooked up in the ocean, his dramatic parting of ways with Andi Dorfman, and… well, you get the gist. Needless to say, Juan Pabs can’t wait to take off the crown.

Hours before we all get to see his season’s finale and the “After the Final Rose” special, Juan Pablo tweeted:

So much for feeling wistful! Juan Pablo’s word choice here is quite telling, as he appears to be making light of the show by calling it a “soap opera.” And his use of the word “finally” emphasizes that these past several weeks haven’t been a breeze for him. Plus, this is actually the second time that he has tweeted recently about wanting his tenure to end.

We’re now wondering whether he would be this eager to put the show behind him if he found his soul mate in either Nikki Ferrell or Clare. We’re guessing that’s a no. Luckily, we don’t have to wait too much longer to find out...

Do you think Juan Pablo regrets becoming the Bachelor? And do you think he’s in love with his final pick? Let us know in the comments!
