The Bachelor Season 18’s Juan Pablo Galavis will have to think twice before ever stepping foot in St. Louis again, because according to the Internet, he’s not welcome at Busch Stadium. JPG was in attendance at Monday night’s Cardinals game against the Chicago Cubs, and some angry Cards fans are blaming El Bachelor for their crushing 17-5 loss.

Twitter exploded as baseball fanatics took out their frustration at the Cardinals’ poor showing by accusing the soccer star of being a walking bad omen. “Juan Pablo attends game at Busch stadium and Cardinals get curbstomped by the Cubs,” tweets one fan. “Nothing good happens when that guys around.” Another tweeter admonished, “Juan Pablo, get out of Busch Stadium and get out of STL.” Aye yi yi, harsh.

Other fans were happier to see JPG, with one girl posting an adorable photo of herself hugging the hunk with the caption “DREAM COME TRUE THANKS TO @JuanPaGalavis.” Apparently the Latin ladies’ man was unaware of all the anger his presence provoked, as the only photo he tweeted during the game was this one where his attention is squarely focused on the field, not Twitter.

People can blame the Pabs for a lot of things — fixing Andi’s eyebrow during a fight, sending Cassandra packing on her birthday, and dumping Renee after meeting her son — but this Bachelor bashing is going a little far. Does Juan Pablo resemble a Greek God? Maybe. Does he have the power of the Gods to determine the outcome of a baseball game? Our Magic 8 Ball says “decidedly no.”

What do you think, are Cardinals fans being a bit harsh or just having a bit of fun? Sound off in the comments.
