Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell appear to want nothing to do with The Bachelor, as they succinctly informed Chris Harrison at the ATFR last week. But might they be in talks to appear on a different reality show? We’re just playing guessing (wishing) games at this point, but the couple did have a sit-down with the stars of Marriage Boot Camp.
E! Online reports that Juan Pablo and Nikki had lunch in Miami this week with counselors Jim and Elizabeth Carroll from the WEtv show. The Carrolls reportedly reached out to the couple to meet up with them after seeing them on the Bachelor finale. Frankly, we’re kinda surprised more relationship counselors haven’t been offering the couple their services after that traumatic evening.
So what exactly did Jim and Elizabeth talk to the Bachelor sweeties about? E! claims that the couple won’t appear on the upcoming celebrity-filled season of the show, which will include married couples like Bachelorette Season 1 sweethearts Trista and Ryan Sutter, along with engaged ones like Real Housewives of Orange County faves Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley. So perhaps the Boot Camp stars just wanted to offer some friendly advice.
But might we see Juan Pablo and Nikki on the show down the road? The couple had claimed at the ATFR to be all about privacy, but that hasn’t really proven to be the case, so we could see them deciding to appear on a reality show that promises to strengthen their bond. And while Juan Pablo and Nikki appear nowhere near ready to get engaged, we’re pretty sure the stipulations for appearing on reality shows are rather loose, given that Teen Mom’s very-single Farrah Abraham appeared on last season’s Couples Therapy.
We think it’s awesome if JPG and Nikki were in fact getting relationship tips from the Carrolls, since the counselors know their stuff. As for the idea of them having another reality show in the future, we’d like to see them go at least a little bit longer before that happens. After all, Season 14 Bachelor Jake Pavelka has never met a TV offer he didn’t wanna cozy up to, and we’re afraid of getting similarly burnt out on the newest members of Bachelor Nation.
What do you think Juan Pablo and Nikki were discussing with the Carrolls? And should they appear on Marriage Boot Camp?
