Lamar Odom Sued by Paparazzo Over July Confrontation

Remember that spat Lamar Odom had with a cameraman back in July? You know, the one where he threw the guy’s photo equipment into the middle of the street as the paparazzi and a well-placed group of tourists watched? Well, even though it sounded like the pair had patched things up, TMZ now reports the photographer is suing Lamar

The pap, whom TMZ identifies as one Stefan Saad, claims Lamar assaulted him and destroyed more than $15,000 worth of equipment, according to TMZ.

"The Kardashian clan has apparently come to believe that it is above the law, and has some exceptional privilege to disregard the rights of others,” the lawsuit reportedly says. "The Kardashian clan are not only wealthy and attractive but also deeply flawed."

And as if Lamar wasn’t a big enough target, Stefan supposedly calls out Kim Kardashian’s baby daddy, too. “Stefan even believes Kanye West had a hand in all this, claiming the rapper (who’s dating Kim) advised him on how to deal with paparazzi in a Kanye fashion,” reads the TMZ article. In case you’re wondering, “a Kanye fashion” likely alludes to the rapper’s own clash and pending lawsuit with a pap.

Those sound like fighting words to us, with Stefan supposedly gearing up for a legal battle. He’s suing Lamar for “assault, conversion (stealing property), and trespass of property,” reports TMZ. How much is all that worth? Stefan and his legal team seem to think $565,000 not including punitive damages.

At least there’s one silver lining to the latest Lamar Odom news: It doesn’t involve drugs.
