For being only 19, Justin Bieber has got plenty of ink. There’s his tattoo of the word “believe” on his left arm; the outline of a seagull on his hip (that would be his first foray into body art at age 16); and the Japanese Kanji symbol for “music” on his right arm. In fact, Justin got his half sleeve completed last month at Bang Bang Tattoo Parlor. Clearly, he isn’t afraid of needles!
Now we think there may be a new addition to the collection. OceanUP recently posted a photo of the Biebs from behind with the following Bible passage (Psalm 119:105, to be exact) written on his right shoulder: “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” It’s right across from the chieftain hockey logo on his left shoulder.
The religious message is a fitting addition to Justin’s collection of body art. He already has “Jesus” written in Hebrew across his rib cage and an image of Jesus on his left calf. There are praying hands inked onto his left leg and, of course, that praying angel on his left arm that still has fans squinting their eyes and seeing Bieber’s ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez in the ink.
We’re not 100 percent sure the psalm tat is for real; after all, it has yet to make the “official” list of Justin Bieber tattoos at JustinBieberTattoos.com (yes, that is a real website). Still, the photo looks pretty authentic to us. If it is the real deal, that would make the count 12 new tats Justin has gotten since the start of this year. Trying to set a record, Biebs?
What do you make of Justin’s potentially permanent edition? Love it or wish he’d chill on the body art? Sound off in the comments below!
