Justin Bieber may still have the hearts of millions of teen girls (and their moms), but for many fans, their loyalty is waning, thanks to the singer’s non-stop parade of jerkstore antics, from canceling shows at the last minute to peeing in mop buckets.

Luckily, there are plenty of washed-up musical acts who’ve been where and are more than happy to lend the Biebs a few words of advice before he goes the way of Zubaz pants — just ask Rob Van Winkle, better known to the world as one-trick pony Vanilla Ice.

The “Ice Ice Baby” rapper tells TMZ of Justin’s recent wild streak, “Justin’s just running around being a clown. You know, he’s a kid, he’s having fun… but he forgets that the public eye is looking.”

Clearly understanding the potential outcome of public backlash in a way that Justin might not yet be able to fathom, Rob says, “He forgets that there’s a lot of parents and a lot of people who buy his records and support everything he does… basically, they’re frowning on him right now.”

“Nobody’s going to help him straighten it out,” says Rob. “They’ve got a lot of plastic friends around him right now to tell him everything they want to hear. It’s an artificial life.”

While Rob says that the world may want to see Justin self-destruct, he thinks the that it would be advantageous for the heartthrob to do some soul-searching before that becomes his only option. “There’s going to be a time where the music is gone and he’s going to figure out — or have to figure out — what is his purpose in life, and how does he fit into real reality and being a real person, and not having all of the fans and the people around him who are plastic.”

Adds Rob, “When the dust settles, no one can figure it out or help you but yourself”
