To kill some time in between shows on his Believe tour, Justin Bieber decided to make a little art. Unfortunately for the international superstar, the photos of him spray painting are stirring up controversy.

In a series of five photos Justin posted to his Instagram, the 19-year-old is shown graffiting a wall. “I found a new hobby,” he writes alongside a photo of his ink-splattered hand. “Getting better,” he tags another. Justin’s main piece of the night looks to be a gangsta frog with “RIP PAC” written in black ink above.

We’re all for expressing creativity, but was what Justin did legal? Probably not, but then again, in an Instagram posted by Justin’s partner in crime, R&B singer Khalil, the boys look totally unconcerned as a cop car comes around the corner.

“Me & Bizzle trying something new,” Khalil captions the pic. Fingers crossed he doesn’t mean getting arrested.

Justin’s currently in the middle of his tour. Before arriving in Ecuador (where he’s got a concert scheduled for tonight), Justin stirred up trouble in Asia where a photo of him being carried up the Great Wall of China had fans asking if the Biebs had gotten too big for his already oversized britches. Thankfully for the historic monument, Justin hadn’t yet discovered his passion for tagging walls.

What do you make of Justin Bieber’s “new hobby”? Sound off in the comments below.
