Justin Bieber’s likely to remember the South American leg of his Believe world tour for many a decade to come. To add to his list of travel memories, which already includes frequenting a Brazilian brothel and being filmed while asleep: getting food poisoning.

“This sucks. #sick food poisoning,” Justin tweeted November 10. Later he added: “Not feeling so good. Actually pretty sick. Pulling it together. Argentina we got a show to do. Love u.” Unfortunately, though, that wasn’t the case with the Biebs’s bellyache getting so bad he had to cancel a scheduled performance in Argentina.

A shirtless Justin took to the stage November 10 to send his fans on their way.

“Before I went to sleep last night, I started to feel sick and I wanted to come out here and give you the best show but I’m not feeling so good. I think I’m out of energy,” he tells the wildly screaming masses. “I want to say that I hate to do this because I hate disappointing any of my fans but I love you with all of my heart. You guys are incredible. And I’m sorry once again.”

He then hands the mic over to a translator and slowly the screams of joy turn to screams of anger. The only thing that briefly quiets the crowd? Justin whispering “Te amo” before making his exit stage left, boos shouted in the background.
