Justin Bieber isn’t the only one in hot water after this morning’s tangle with the Miami Beach Police Department. The Biebs’ bud Khalil was also arrested; he was allegedly driving a red Ferrari and speed racing against Justin.
The 19-year-old R&B singer, whose full name is Khalil Amir Sharieff, signed with Def Jam Records back in 2008 but left the label in 2011. His most recent video, “Stars,” was released last June and has more than 270,000 views.
Khalil was seen spending the day prior to his arrest hanging out with Justin and Justin’s dad, Jeremy, at the beach. Justin has admitted he spent the day smoking weed and drinking before he and Khalil decided to go drag racing on a residential street in the early hours of January 23.
The Miami Beach Police Department has shared Khalil’s mug shot via Twitter as well as his arrest report. The report lists Khalil’s home address in Calabasas, not far from Justin’s place, and also notes he was charged with DUI. Justin faces DUI, resisting arrest without violence, and driving with an expired license.
Khalil hasn’t spoken publicly about his arrest (he’s been a bit busy) but his last tweet was sent just hours before his run-in with the cops: “Just livin' life, blessed.”
