Another day, another development in the Justin Bieber case — and this one’s a doozy. The toxicology report from the 19-year-old pop star’s DUI and drag-racing arrest in Miami Beach was just released, and it appears he was indeed under the influence of illegal drugs at the time.

Justin was brought into police custody in the Florida city on January 23 for driving under the influence, and he was drug-tested soon after. According to documents obtained by TMZ, he tested positive for THC and Alprazolam (aka prescription anti-anxiety medication, likely Xanax).

This is consistent with the original police report that says the Biebs told authorities he received prescription pills from his mother. The police report also alleges that Justin admitted to smoking weed in his recording studio prior to the arrest — which explains the THC in his system.

One brighter note: The document also shows that the star tested negative for opiates, cocaine, meth, and other harder drugs. Though any drug is a bad drug, this will probably still be somewhat of a relief for Beliebers.

Despite the toxicology report, Justin’s attorney pled not guilty to the charges yesterday in the Miami Dade court. Check back with Wetpaint Entertainment for more information as it comes.
