Everyone around Justin Bieber might be urging him to get help and as far as they’re concerned, he says he’s taking their advice. But according to Hollywood Life, it’s all an act to get his friends and family off his back about seeking treatment.
“Justin doesn’t believe he has a problem, but he knows people around him think he does. So to shut them up he has been saying he will do something to make them happy and get himself some help,” a source close to the 19-year-old singer gone public enemy said. “But many people are thinking and realizing that Justin is just saying things to buy himself time. He’s all talk.”
While this intel hasn’t been confirmed, it does sound like the way Justin would behave. We wouldn’t be surprised if he was dragging his feet on getting help — or denying that he has a problem altogether.
“People close to him will bring up to him that he needs help, he plays along, and then he goes back and does his own thing,” the source added. “He is very manipulative because at the end of the day the people in his life know he is their meal ticket and will ultimately let him do what he wants to do. It is a vicious cycle that is only going to get worse before it gets any better.”
If it were up to us, Justin would take his friends’ and family’s advice and get some help before he hurts himself or someone else the next time he gets into trouble — especially if drugs and alcohol are involved again. We all just want the best for you, Justin!
But you know how it goes: You can lead a troubled pop star to rehab, but you can’t make him check in.
