Update (2 p.m. PST May 14, 2014):
Sounds like Justin might actually get out of this latest mess. TMZ reports an employee of Sherman Oaks Castle Park says she saw the whole thing go down on Monday night and claims Justin never even touched the woman who went on to accuse him for robbery. He was just getting upset because the woman's camera flashes kept distracting his batting.
Original story (3:28 a.m. May 14, 2014):
Justin Bieber fought the law, and it sounds like the law is going to win. Again.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Justin’s being investigated for an attempted robbery in Sherman Oaks, California on Monday.
The robbery, reported to the LAPD at 10:30 p.m. Monday night, happened at a mini golf and batting cage park, where Justin got a little ticked off when he thought a nearby customer and her daughter were taking pictures of him. He reportedly proceeded to snatch her phone away and yell at the woman and her daughter.
As the story goes via TMZ, Justin originally asked to see the woman’s phone so he could delete the pictures, but when she refused, he went into her purse and took it. Yeah, most people don’t like it when you do that. When Justin couldn’t unlock her phone, she showed Justin there were no photos of him on her phone, and that she and her daughter just wanted to meet him.
“You’re humiliating yourself in front of your daughter,” Justin allegedly told the woman. “Why don’t you just get out here?”
At that point, the daughter started crying, and the incident obviously upset them enough that the woman felt compelled to report it to police later that night.
“As of right now, no arrest has been made and detectives are currently interviewing the victim,” LAPD officer Rosario Herrera confirmed.
Justin, Justin, Justin. If you want to keep your fans around, maybe you should reconsider screaming at their moms.
