Justin Bieber may get a sunnyside ending to the Great Egg Raid after all.
In case you’ve lost track of Justin’s various brushes with the law this past year, the Biebs had a contingent of Los Angeles police officers drop by his home back in January in connection to the egging of his neighbor’s home, which said neighbor claims Justin did. While at Casa de Saggy Pants, the police uncovered drugs, including Ecstasy and Oxycodone, and eventually arrested Biebs’ bud Lil Za on felony drug charges.
Justin was never rung up on any such charges himself (well, at least in that particular case) but he does have to face the music concerning the egging of his neighbor’s home and the $20,000 in damages it supposedly caused. The case was turned over to the Los Angeles County D.A. in early February and now we’re hearing Justin’s crack team of lawyers may have figured out a plea bargain.
Sources tell TMZ the D.A. has contacted Justin’s lawyer, Howard Weitzman, about meeting to discuss restitution for the reported damage. That talk will likely be about Justin pleading no contest to misdemeanor vandalism, skipping any jail time, and eventually getting out his checkbook. The cops supposedly aren’t too happy with Justin getting off on just a misdemeanor; sources tell both TMZ and E! News they want a felony.
TMZ puts a potential end date to the whole legal tangle as next week; we’ll let you know how this scramble shakes out.
