Never say never, people. Justin Bieber has finally, finally shaved off his peach fuzz mustache.
In an Instagram video uploaded on August 20, Justin holds up a razor and asks pal Lil' Za, "Should I do it?"
"Do it!" Za responds. (Good man.)
Justin then whispers "R.I.P. 'stache" — with his face creepily close to the cell phone camera.
He puts shaving cream on his upper lip, asking Za if that how it's done.
Then, in the next shot, Justin adorably has shaving cream covering the entire area where most guys are able to grow beards. (Keep the dream alive, dude.)
And finally, he starts shaving.
It feels like the end of an era. We first spotted the "Baby" mustache three years ago, and it's been haunting us ever since.
In September, reports swirled that Justin's occasional girlfriend Selena Gomez found his attempts at facial hair "hilarious." Maybe he's trying to win her back?
In any case, now the 20-year-old is back to being the hairless pop star we know and (sometimes) love. So glad he decided to stop trying to make 'stache happen. It's not going to happen.
