Justin Bieber’s Mom Defends Her Son, Says He Gets a “Bad Rap”

Justin Bieber's mom is sticking up for her son, even though he pees in buckets.

Appearing on Andy Cohen's Bravo talk show Watch What Happens Live this week — alongside momager Kris Jenner — Pattie Mallette addressed the 19-year-old "Beauty and the Beat" singer's recent bout of bad press. The most recent of which was Wednesday, when a TMZ video showing the pop sensation peeing into a mop bucket. But that wasn't all! He also picked up a photo of former President Bill Clinton, sprayed it with cleaning liquid, and shouted obscenities at the picture.

"I definitely think he’s getting a bad rap, but I'm also not naive to think that my child is perfect and making all the best decisions of his life," Pattie told Andy. "He knows what I disagree with, and he knows all the things that I'm really proud of him for, too. I mean, people don't talk about all the great things he does every day."

That is true, Justin does do some pretty sweet things. "Every night before a show, he meets with Make-a-Wish kids," she continued. "He goes to sick kids' hospitals. He visits with them [and] takes his time. He gives back to charities."

And when he does do stupid things, sometimes he even apologizes for them. Justin contacted President Clinton to make amends after the aforementioned video went viral. "Justin apologized for his comments," a source told Us Weekly. "President Clinton took it in jest and said, 'If that is the worst thing you have ever done, all is well.'"

Justin later tweeted at President Clinton: "Thanks for taking the time to talk Mr. President. Your words meant a lot. #greatguy."

We're sure Pattie is a proud momma — well, most of the time.
