JWOWW and Oprah Are Teaming Up — But There’s a Catch!
A few months ago, we let you know about JWOWW landing an amazing recurring gig playing a bartender named Nikki on soap opera One Life to Live. The series was relaunched online on April 29, and could be getting a new home on Oprah Winfrey’s network OWN — which means the Queen of Talk Shows and JWOWW could be working together.
Episodes of One Life to Live and All My Children will continue to be available online, but starting in July, they will also be shown on OWN, a joint venture between Oprah and Discovery Communications. That means JWOWW and her appropriately-cast bartender role will be working for a legend. The deal is described it as a 10-week “limited engagement” for the soaps, but if the episodes perk up the channel’s daytime ratings, they could become a permanent addition to the schedule. One Life to Live’s Instagram account posted a photo of OWN’s logo with the message, “#OneLifeToLive is about to have a #SummerFling with the one and only...#OprahWinfrey!” This is a wonderful step for both the show and JWOWW. Good luck, girl!
What do you think about JWOWW’s big step up? Will you catch One Life to Live on OWN? Let us know!
