Kailyn Lowry & Javi Marroquin Discuss Possibility of Getting Back Together
Though the Teen Mom stars co-parent their 4-year-old son Lincoln, they have been split up for a few years.
And, while they work hard to maintain their friendship, a rekindled romance seems pretty much out of the question.
The former couple discussed the possibility of reconciling while on Lindsie Chrisley’s Coffee Convos podcast.
"I just think that there's a lot of history between us that [neither] one of us will ever let go,” Javi confessed.
“Even if we were to try again in the future it wouldn't work because I know the type of person I am and the type of person she is.”
He continued, “We argue. It just wouldn't happen."
The father of one recently split from Teen Mom 3 star Briana DeJesus.
"Javi argues out of passion. Javi is a habitual arguer and a 'never letter goer,’” Kailyn shared.
"I couldn't have said it better. I don't think we could get back together."
Though both of Javi’s Teen Mom relationships failed, he is focused on being a better man in the future.
"I'm trying to learn from my mistakes and not repeat those mistakes so moving forward, I'm not gonna mix that."
The mother of three and Briana’s relationship was so bad, it deeply affected Kailyn and Javi’s friendship.
"It would never happen. We would never get along,” Kailyn said.
“You allowed her to disrespect me to my face, also on camera, also in text messages. When I said what I had to say in a nice way you defended her and not me.”
She continued, “We raise a son together, you don't raise a son with her."
